CNC machines are of several types. CNC is Computer Numerical Control, which is multi-axis X, Y and Z axle movement if it has 3 axes. Some machines have 2 axes (vertical + horizontal) or even 5 axes (Vertical + Horizontal + Depth +2 diagonal).
Machinery can cut wood, pvc, plastic, sheet using a milling machine as a Router. Other machines can use laser technology by sending the laser by combining CO2 with the lens cutting plate. Machines of this type can generally cut up to 20mm board. Other machines can bend the board, that machine is called Abkant.
